The transformation is part of a wider IT services agreement with Computacenter that will help Rok meet itsenvironmental goals while aiding costcontrol and business continuity and offering increased business agility. Rok has 5,000 employees and 60 offices in the UK. Known as ‘the Nation's Local Builder'', the company employs localpeople to work within their owncommunities. Rok works with seven out of10 of the UK's leading insurance companies and specialises in social housing,maintenance and plumbing, heating andelectrical services.As a result of the IT transformation, Rok has decreased its server estate from 80 tojust 20 physical devices, which host 76virtual machines.
